Multiple Sclerosis

Elana Sullivan, President, National MS Society Michigan Chapter

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and staff of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Michigan Chapter, and the over 18,000 people living with MS in Michigan, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 2015 Thrilla at the Villa.

I wish to thank all of the gracious sponsors, auction donors and volunteers for your generosity in supporting the event. My personal gratitude goes especially to Tony Rubino, Al Marino and their families, for sharing your spirit, energy and heart in the creation of this spectacular evening.
The vision of the National MS Society is bold: A world free of MS. We are united in our collective power to do something about MS now and ultimately end this disease forever.

There are an estimated 450,000 people with MS in the United States, and Michigan has one of the highest incidence rates of MS in the country. That is why Thrilla at the Villa is so important to our work. Every dollar raised tonight will fund research into the cause and cure for MS and to allow us to continue to pave the way for MS treatments, none of which existed 20 years ago. We are committed to ensuring that each person with MS can live their best life and you are helping us do just that by providing your presence and support tonight.
Thank you all, once again, for your generosity and commitment to our mission. I hope you have a wonderful evening, and that you return home knowing you have made a difference in the lives of so many.
Warmest regards,

Elana Sullivan
